To provide a time recorder device and a time card and a preparation method thereof devised such that a waste of the card is extremely made less at the time of preparing the time card, a time for printing an identification number and a mark read by a machine against the time card is made less and a printing amount of the card can be inhibited to the minimum required.

An ID printing area 20 and an enlargement ID printing area 21 are provided on a time card T. In the case where a card number (code) is superposed at the time of preparing the time card, an enlargement ID is printed at the enlargement ID printing area 21. A new ID comprising a combination of this enlargement ID and a card ID originally printed at the ID printing area 20 is used as the card number of this time card T.
