Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and accurately set and register a card closing day in a time recorder only by the insertion of a card by recording kind codes determining the card closing day at the lower part of the card where no print column is formed.
CONSTITUTION: At the lower part T4 of the time card P where no print column is formed, the kind codes A-C which determine the card closing day are recorded. When the timer recorder receives the inserted time card PA, a sensor reads the kind codes A-C recorded at the lower part T4 of the card PA to decide the kind of the time card PA, i.e., the kinds of cards A, B, and C, and performs arithmetic processing and printing processing for working data on the basis of the time system corresponding to the decided kind code. Therefore, the card closing day can automatically be set and registered without operating a switch, a button, etc.
