To provide a time recorder system increasing the speed of timecard processing and allowing a reduction in the overall height of a time recorder by composing the system to read an ID and print on a printing column during the forward movement of a timecard when it is drawn in and to provide a timecard making it possible to achieve the system and to create a number of ID codes.
ID marks VN and VN' into which the ID of the timecard TK is divided are imparted respectively to the front surface T1 and the back surface T2 of the timecard TK and are read respectively by the front and back mark sensors 12 and 13 of the time recorder TR to synthesize the ID. Arrival and departure information is stored in a memory 21 that corresponds to the ID. This arrival and departure information is printed in a predetermined printing column R on the timecard TK.
