To provide a time recorder by which a configuration is simplified and a production cost is reduced.
A motor gear 16a is rotated counterclockwise so as to rotate a rocking board 17 counterclockwise. A first transmission gear 16b is engaged with a second transmission gear 16c, so as to rotate a carrier driving gear 16d clockwise. A carrier 13 is moved rightward via a carrier rack part 13c which is engaged with an intermittent gear 162d. In the meantime, the motor gear 16a is rotated clockwise so as to rotate the rocking board 17 clockwise. The first transmission gear 16b is engaged with a wire winding pulley driving gear 16e, so as to rotate the wire winding pulley driving gear 16e clockwise. A wire winding pulley 16f is rotated counterclockwise via a gear 161f which is engaged with the intermittent gear. Then the wire 14c is wound up and a time card receiver is lifted up.
