Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set time to a large number of terminal devices.
SOLUTION: This is a time setting method which sets the time of the internal timer 42 of a terminal device 41 when a program is downloaded from a master machine 40 to the terminal device 41. When downloading is indicated, the master machine 40 acquires time information from its internal timer and downloads it to the terminal device 41 together with the program and the terminal device 41 retrieves the time information from the received downloaded data and sets the time of its internal timer 42 according to the obtained time information.
