Title:
TIME SIGNAL CLOCK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5496074
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the size and weight of a time signal clock by simplifying the constitution, by controlling the presettable counter to determine the number of strikes for time signal through a set signal input switch.

CONSTITUTION: When a time signal detection signal is applied to an oscillator 202 for determining the number of strikes for time signal, and a presettable counter 201 for setting the number of strikes for time signal by way of an OR circuit, the oscillator 202 is set by the counter 201 by means of a set switch 207, and generates pulses by the number corresponding to the number of strikes set for time signal which can be monitored. Accordingly, the time signal sound corresponding to the set number of strikes is generated from an electroacoustic transducer 206 by way of an oscillator 203 for determining the time signal frequency, an envelope control part 204, etc. Since the number of strikes on the presettable counter is set by a set switch, the constitution of the circuit for setting the number of strikes is simplified. Further, the simple constitution not containing mechanical mechanism makes the time signal clock small, than, and highly reliable.
