Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform time synchronization between a CPU and all user apparatuses without calculating transmission delay time in advance.SOLUTION: A GPS receiver unit 2010 transmits time information received from a GPS satellite to a time register control unit 2020. The time register control unit 2020 sets the time information to a reference time register 2030. A time synchronization packet generation unit 2040 generates a time synchronization packet including a time field in which reference time is set and a delay field and outputs the time synchronization packet to a packet transmission unit 2050. A standard interface transmission unit 2060 broadcasts the time synchronization packet to a plurality of user apparatuses. Each of a plurality of relay apparatuses on a packet route adds delay time in the relay apparatus to a delay field in the time synchronization packet. Each of the plurality of user apparatuses performs time correction by adding delay time to reference time at a point of time when the time synchronization has arrived.
