To provide a timecard printing system using an employee information managed by a computer means, to create employee print information to be printed on a timecard, for printing on the card according to the print information.

The timecard printing system includes a time recorder having both a printing means for printing punch in/out times or the like on a timecard and a communication means, and a management device having both a management means for managing the employee information and a communication means. The time recorder and the management device are connected to each other, either directly or via a network line such as the Internet. The management device creates the print information according to the employee information and transmits the print information to the time recorder and can obtain the identification information of the timecard printed.
