PURPOSE: To provide a timepiece watch of the structure in which a front cover can be stably mounted in a timepiece frame without influence of the thickness of a dial.

CONSTITUTION: A recess 1a is formed in a timepiece frame 1, a dial 2 is provided at the front surface of the recess 1a, and a front cover 3 of a sectional cup shape mounted in the recess 1a is provided at the front of the dial 2. An engaging pawl 3a is provided at the side of the cover 3, and an engaging hole 1b engaged with the pawl 3a is provided at the side of the recess 1a. A positioning protrusion 1e is provided on the outer periphery of the bottom 1d of the recess 1a. The protrusion 1e is set at its height h1 to the thickness or more of the dial 2. A cutout 1a engaged with the protrusion 1e is provided at the outer peripheral edge of the dial 2. The cover 3 is held at the predetermined position by the protrusion 1e irrespective of the thickness of the dial 2 and mounted in the frame 1.
