PURPOSE: To perform hour adjustment plus minute adjustment on rough adjustment plus fine adjustment through operating one switch for time adjustment by outputting a pulse signal which is generated by a repeating period advanced according to the elapsing of an operation time of a switch for time adjustment, in case of operating said switch.
CONSTITUTION: When a switch 1 for time adjustment is turned on, a pulse generating circuit 2 outputs a pulse signal and time adjustment for a timepiece circuit 3 is performed by this pulse signal. The pulse generating circuit 2 outputs a pulse signal with a repetition period changing functionally against time during which the switch 1 is turned on. The pulse generating circuit 2, for instance, generates a pulse signal with a repetition period so that the timepiece circuit 3 is gained by one minute per second at early time when the switch 1 is turned on. Thereafter, the repetition period is gradually advanced, further after elapsing by about 10 seconds from the time when the switch 1 has been turned on, the pulse signal generates with a repetition period so that the timepiece circuit 3 is gained by one hour per second.
