Abstract:
To provide a timing chain lubricating device for a V-type engine in which upsizing of a cylinder block can be suppressed and the layout design of peripheral components can be simplified.
In the lubricating device, engine oil is supplied from a main oil gallery in the cylinder block to be jetted to the chain. The block is provided with an oil supply means having a first oil jet adapter communicated with the oil gallery to lubricate the chain of the right side bank and a second oil jet adapter communicated with the first adapter through a connecting pipe line to lubricate the chain of the left side bank.
