Abstract:
PURPOSE:To generate a stable clock and to precisely and stably correct a variation in an amplitude as to the timing regenerator for detecting a bit phase from a regenerative signal and the auto-slicer for responding a discriminating level in comparison of the regenerative signal with an amplitude variation. CONSTITUTION:The timing regenerator is constituted for the purpose of detecting PR (1, 0, -1) on the premise, making the comparison by two comparing circuits 6 and 7 respectively, detecting their respective clock components individually, detecting phase errors and adding up the phase errors with an additing circuit 17, so as to generate the precise clock without being influenced by a data pattern. Then, the auto-slicer is also operated to detect an amplitude variation at the timing point, and then the amplitude variation is corrected without being influenced by the data pattern.
