Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal generator that has individual oscillation corrected with respect to heat, respectively.SOLUTION: A timing signal generator with a temperature correction function has: a quartz oscillator 112 that generates a reference time signal; and a divider circuit 114 that is adapted to receive the reference time signal and output a rough time unit signal. The rough time unit signal has an actual frequency deviant to a desired frequency as a function of a temperature signal of the quartz oscillator 112. The timing signal generator further has a high frequency oscillator 116 that is adapted to generate an interpolation signal having a higher frequency than that of the quartz oscillator. A finite state machine 124 is configured to calculate a deviation correction signal as the function of the temperature, and the deviation correction signal has: an integer part that shows a number of an integer of pulses suppressed or injected in the divider circuit 114; and a fractional part that shows how much an output of a new time unit signal pulse is further delayed in order to correct a remaining deviation.
