Title:
TIN PLATE COATED BY POLYMER COATING, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015078427
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of coating a chromium-free surface of a tin coated steel plate by polymer coating.SOLUTION: A coating 16 made of a polymer material is supplied to a heated steel strip 10, and is pressed against one surface or both surfaces of tin coating by a lamination roll 9a of a plastic coating device 9 . Due to temperature of the steel strip, a region of the tin coating close to a surface melts, a region of the polymer film 16 which faces the tin coated steel strip also melts, and is adhered on an oxidized surface of the tin coating pressed by the lamination roll. After the polymer film is laminated, the tin coated steel strip and the polymer-coated steel strip are cooled down to approximately 20°C. Melting of the polymer coating is executed in a melting device 14 by induction heating of the steel strip in an induction coil. Finally, the coated steel strip is wound up on a roll 13 by a delivery device 6.
