Title:
TIN-PLATED COPPER ALLOY SHEET MATERIAL FOR FITTING TYPE TERMINAL, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011157588
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a tin-plated copper alloy sheet for a fitting type terminal having a small coefficient of friction and a small change of contact resistance with elapsed time.

A surface plated layer consisting of an Ni coating layer, a Cu-Sn alloy coating layer, and an Sn coating layer is formed on a copper alloy sheet in this order, and graphite particles have adhered to the surface. The Ni coating layer has an average thickness of 0.1-1.0 μm; the Cu-Sn alloy coating layer has a surface exposure area rate of 10-75% and an average thickness of 0.1-1.0 μm; and the Sn coating layer has an average thickness of 0.2-1.5 μm. The graphite particles cover the surface of the surface plated layer with an area ratio of 30% or less, and the graphite particles having a particle size of 2 μm or more among the graphite particles have an average particle size of 3-30 μm and cover the surface of the surface-plated layer with an area ratio of 3% or more. The percentage of the number of particles having a particle size of 10 μm or more is 3% or more. Arithmetic average surface roughness Ra of the copper alloy sheet in the direction where the surface roughness appears most greatly is 0.15-1.0 μm. The graphite particles are allowed to adhere to the surface of the surface-plated layer before reflow treatment.
