Title:
TIN SNIPS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0655331
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make the force, required at the cutting time, extremely effective by forming tin snips in such a way that the engaged face, with a lower blade, of an upper blade interlocked with an other-finger handle faces the same side as the overlapped side with a thumb handle.

CONSTITUTION: After crossing an other-finger handle 1 and a thumb handle 4 at a pivot part 9, an upper blade 3 is formed frontward from the pivot part 7 of the other-finger handle 1 in such a way that the blade bottom part is shifted down to the lower side from the pivot part 7 so as to place the blade tip part in the rising state, and a lower blade 6 is formed frontward from the pivot part 7 of the thumb handle 4, with an engagement relief margin part interposed in between. The engaged face, with the lower blade 6, of the upper blade 3 interlocked with the other-finger handle 1 thereby faces the same side as the overlapped side with the thumb handle 4.
