Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a tip dresser which is applicable to an angled welding tip, by which a damage of a blade is prevented and the blade is ground or exchanged at low cost even when it is damaged and, therefore, which is economical and excellent in working efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A triangular tip 51 by which the side faces of welding tips W1 and W2 are cut and an end face cutting tool 53 by which the end faces of the welding tips W1 and W2 are cut are attached to a holder 19, a hollow part 19a is provided on the center part of the holder 19 and a first step taper part 19b and a second step taper part 19c are provided on the holder 19. The first step taper part 19b having an angle same to that of the cutting blade face of the triangular tip 51 is formed to be relieved from the cutting blade face of the tip 51 and the second step taper part 19c is continued to the first step taper part 19b from a position D2 which is slightly larger than the diameter D1 of the welding tips W1 and W2 and formed with an angle slightly smaller than that of the first step taper part 19b.
