To provide a tip rod for an internally threaded fishing rod, capable of maintaining the good balance of the rod, having a light weight and simultaneously enabling that a fishing line is smoothly delivered or wound up, and to provide a method for producing the top rod for the internally threaded fishing rod.
This top rod for an internally threaded fishing rod is prepared by winding a prepreg comprising highly strong fibers, such as carbon fibers or glass fibers, impregnated with a resin on a core material in a tubular shape. Projections 2 projected on the axial center side are integrally formed with a rod main body 1 on the inner circumferential surface of the rod main body 1 over the whole circumference or the approximately whole circumference on the axial core direction view. Therein, the diameter of the rod main body 1 is reduced from the rear portion to the tip portion. The projections 2 are disposed on the inner circumferencial surface of the rear portion excluding the tip portion of the rod main body.
