Abstract:
To provide a tip for a throw-away tool having the maximum number of corners and long life by compatibly establishing a proper relief angle and preventing side portions located on the rotation outer periphery face side of a tool from having a large angle to the rotation axis of the tool in the case of the specification of a milling cutter using an end cutting edge.
The tip 10 has heptagonal side faces, and both side faces 13a, 13b are in parallel to each other.
