Abstract:

To provide a tire air pressure monitor which promptly determines failure in a receiving means.

First and second receiving circuits 33, 34 for receiving signals together with radio signals from an arbitrary sensor device are connected to determine failure in the respective receiving circuits corresponding to the presence of the reception of the radio signals by the respective receiving circuits. When one of the respective receiving circuits receives the radio signal, the other receiving circuit which has not received radio signal is determined to be at fault.
