Title:
TIRE AIR PRESSURE MONITORING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3814248
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire air pressure monitoring device to facilitate user's work of filling air to a tire short in air pressure.
SOLUTION: The tire air pressure monitoring device is provided with a monitoring unit 20 comparing an output of a pressure sensor generating the output showing tire air pressure of four tires mounted on the vehicle with a prescribed value, and determining whether the tire air pressure is sufficient or not, and an on-vehicle battery source 56 supplying an indicator 46 with operating power through an ignition switch 58. The tire air pressure monitoring device is arranged in a cabin, and provided with an operating switch 64 supplying the operating power by connecting the on-vehicle battery source 56 with the indicator 46 bypassing the ignition switch 58 according to the operation of the user. When the user confirms the tires during working, the indicator 46 can be made to perform display operation by only operating the operating switch 64 without turning on the ignition switch 58.
