Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire air pressure monitoring system capable of notifying a vehicle user of a reception state from a tire air pressure detection means while suppressing a power consumption, and also capable of allowing the vehicle user to take proper measures concerning vehicle movement, etc., before filling air.SOLUTION: A tire air pressure monitoring system includes a detection device 30 and a monitoring device 20. The detection device 30 includes a tire air pressure detection means 37, a traveling state detection means 38, a transmission means 32, and detection device control means 34. The monitoring device 20 includes a reception means 22, a monitoring device control means 24, and a power supply device 29. The detection device control means 24 stops a transmission from the transmission means 32 after the traveling state detection means 38 detects the stoppage of a vehicle, and transmits a signal for confirming a traveling state by the transmission means 32 after a predetermined first time period from the stoppage of the vehicle. The monitoring device control means 24 turns off the power supply of the reception means 22 after a predetermined second time period which is equal to or more than the first time period from detection of the turning-off of a vehicle ignition switch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
