Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and efficiently carry in or out a tire to a measuring device without requiring manual labor by extruding the uppermost tire among the tires stacked on a support board at the prescribed height position.
SOLUTION: Transferred and stacked tires are slightly lifted together with a lift roller conveyor 23 by a lift drive mechanism 24, and the lower face of the uppermost tire is set to the height of the connection section of a connecting conveyor 30. An extrusion lug 28 on a frame body 22 is lowered from the home position and is inserted into the inside hollow section of the uppermost tire, then it is moved forward to extrude the uppermost tire forward. This tire is moved on the inclined connecting conveyor 30, shifted to a carrying-in conveyor, and fed to a uniformity device by the carrying-in conveyor. After extruding the tire, the extrusion lug 28 is retreated to wait. When the lift roller conveyor 23 lifts the remaining tires by one tire height, the protrusion lug 28 extrudes the next tire.
