PURPOSE: To simplify construction and installing work of a tire chain and to enhance both safety and adhesiveness between the tire chain and a tire through double clamping functions by using a rubber band and a slackening/tensing member.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of antislipping members 1 are combined with each other by using a binding metal fitting 17 and a binding/fixing metal fitting 12, while, in an end part on one side of the antislipping member 1, a locking means 14 is prepared at an end part of a hollow member 2 fixed by a fixing metal fitting 11 at a certain interval. In an end part on the other side of the antislipping member 1, a locking metal fitting 8 and an double locking metal fitting 9 are arranged, leaving a certain space between the two. In addition, a slackening/tensing member 4, which is connected to an end part on the other side of the hollow member 2 and which goes through a hollow anitslipping member 3 to be introduced on the locking metal fitting (8) side, is provided. An end part on one side of a spring 5 is connected to an end part of the slackening/testing member 4, while an end part on the other side is provided with a hook 6. Moreover, the tire chain is provided with a rubber band 7, which is prepared independently.
