Title:
TIRE CONDITION SENSOR, TIRE CONDITION SENSING METHOD, TIRE AND ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006170686
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a tire condition sensor capable of detecting the tire condition with simple configuration without the necessity of connection structure for communicating with signal transmission.

The tire 1 is equipped with a plurality of antenna elements 11, and the vehicle body is equipped with three antennas 13A-13C. The radio waves transmitted by transmission antennas 13A-13C and reflected by the antenna elements 11 are received by the transmission antennas 13A-13C on the vehicle side. An amount of deformation of the parts facing the transmission/reception antennas 13A-13C of the tire 1 are detected on the basis of receiving states of the reflected radio waves. From the detected deformation data, the 3-directional forces of back and forth, vertical, and upper and lower directions which the tire 1 is receiving from the road, are detected.
