Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire having blowoutproof rubber side walls.
The pneumatic tire has the rubber side walls each of which includes (A) a visual outer annular side wall rubber layer containing at least one of conjugated diene type elastomer, and (B) an inner (nonvisual) annular side wall rubber layer which underlies the outer side wall rubber layer integrally. The inner side wall rubber layer includes at least one of conjugated diene type elastomer, and contains dispersed short fibers that are arranged in virtually parallel with each other and with the annular shape of the inner side wall rubber layer.
