To provide a pneumatic tire having a rubber tread using a tread rubber comprising specific rubber, a reinforced filler and a coupling agent, excellent in a balance of rolling resistance, tractive force and abrasion resistance.

This tire has a rubber tread. The tread rubber is composed of a rubber composition comprising (A) rubber containing a polybutadiene having high vinyl content, isoprene/butadiene copolymer rubber having -70°C to -90°C or -30°C to -50°C glass-transition temperature(Tg) and cis-1,4-polyisoprene rubber and excluding a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber, (B) a reinforcing filler containing precipitated silica and carbon black and (C) a silica coupling agent having a part reactive with silica and another sulfur-based part interactive with the rubber component, if necessary, further, (D) a cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber having low vinyl content or 3,4-polyisoprene or styrene-isoprene copolymer rubber having-$10°C to -30°C Tg.
