Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire for heavy loads which is improved in anti-stone biting performance by increasing differences in deformation of adjacent blocks when contacting the ground and removing stones or the like bitten into the blocks.SOLUTION: A tire 1 for heavy loads comprises a pair of crown main grooves 3 and 3 and a pair of shoulder main grooves 4 and 4 at a tread portion 2. The crown main grooves 3 and the shoulder main grooves 4 are formed in zigzag, and crown lateral grooves 5 extend between crown inside top portions 3C and also incline at 45-75 degrees in a tire shaft direction. In middle lateral grooves 6 are alternately formed first middle lateral grooves 6A that are connected to crown outside top portions 3D and incline in the same direction as the crown lateral grooves 5 and second middle lateral grooves 6B that are connected to the crown outside top portions 3D and incline in the opposite direction to the first middle lateral grooves 6A.
