Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress damage of a bead core at an inner end position in a tire axial direction while utilizing advantage of light weight possessed by a bead wind structure.
SOLUTION: In the tire of bead wind structure, a ply folding/returning part 6b of a carcass 6 is wound on the bead core 5 and terminated. A U-shaped bead reinforcement layer 15 covering the ply folding/returning part 6b is provided on the bead part 4. A code angle curve Y=f(X) of the bead reinforcement layer 15 has at least three points of inflection of a second point of inflection P2 at which the code angle Y becomes the minimum value Ymin and first and third points of inflection P1, P3 at both sides thereof. A differential coefficient f'(X) is made positive at the place from an outer piece tip end Qo to the first point P1 of inflection, the differential coefficient f'(X) is made negative between the first and second points P1, P2 of inflection and the differential coefficient f'(X) is made positive between the second and third points P2, P3 of inflection.
