Abstract:
To provide a tire manufacturing method with reduced air residues.SOLUTION: This tire manufacturing method includes the steps of (A) winding a rubber sheet having one end and the other end to form a joint including these ends, (B) assembling a rubber member to the rubber sheet to obtain a low cover 4 having a space caused by the joint, (C) placing the low cover 4 into a vulcanizing apparatus 2 including a mold 6 having a cavity surface 6A and a bladder 8 having a body 8C and a projection 8E protruding from the body 8C, and positioning the low cover 4 between the mold 6 and the bladder 8, and (D) expanding the bladder 8 to press the low cover 4 against the cavity surface 6A while crushing the space with the protrusion 8E.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
