Abstract:
To provide a tire manufacturing method with excellent grip performance.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes a preparation step, a treatment step, an elution step, a measurement step, an evaluation step, and a production step. The preparation step includes steps of: preparing a rubber piece having a simulated road surface and a friction surface whose area is known; and setting a standard of a mass of sticky substance per unit area on the friction surface. The treatment step includes generating a sticky substance by performing a friction treatment on a friction surface of a rubber piece using the simulated road surface. The elution step includes immersing the rubber piece in a solvent to elute the sticky substance. The measurement step includes calculating a mass of sticky substance per unit area on the friction surface from a mass change of the rubber piece before and after the solvent immersion. The evaluation step includes comparing the standard set in the preparation step with the mass of sticky substance per unit area calculated in the measurement step. When the calculated value obtained in the measurement step meets the standard set in the preparation step, a tread rubber sheet is prepared in the production step with the same composition as the rubber piece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
