Abstract:

To provide a tire model creation method and a tire model creation device that are utilized for a numerical value simulation by a computer and precisely model a tire model.SOLUTION: A tire model creation method includes: an acquisition process for setting a time to be measured to a predetermined internal pressure and for acquiring a tire grounding shape when applying a predetermined load; a manufacturing process for manufacturing a grounding base for setting a tire grounding shape to a cross-sectional shape; a contact process for setting a tire to a predetermined internal pressure and bringing the tire into contact with the grounding base with a predetermined applied load; a measurement process for measuring an outer shape of a tire while the tire is being placed on the grounding base; and a creation process for creating a simulation tire model that expresses a tire and is composed of elements that can be numerically analyzed by a computer by using measurement data of the outer shape of the tire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
