Abstract:
To provide a tire mold capable of keeping good slip characteristics and capable of suppressing the deformation of a sipe molding blade without bringing about the change of a tread pattern due to abrasion, and a method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire using the mold.
In the sectional type tire mold wherein the sipe molding blades 6X extending up to a sector dividing position X are provided to the molding surfaces 4a of a plurality of divided sectors 4, reinforcing parts 7 each of which comprises a metal plate P are provided to the side surfaces of the sipe molding blades 6X so as to be adjacent to the sector deviding position X.
