Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a tire mold having two shells for molding the side walls of a tire and a tread molding member.
CONSTITUTION: A shell 1 is constituted of the aggregate of thin layers comprising thin piece elements 20 almost parallel to an axial direction and the molding surface of a side wall is demarcated by the end edge parts 24 of the mutually juxtaposed thin piece elements 20. By this constitution, air can be vented from a mold without leaving a mark on the side wall.
