Abstract:

To simulate a tire and a mold when the tire is released from the mold after vulcanization of the tire.

Mold release conditions expressing release characteristics containing a tire design plan, a mold design plan and at least one of energy and displacement amount when releasing tire from mold are determined (steps 100-104); tire and mold are modelled (steps 106 and 108); boundary conditions are determined (steps 110 and 112) after the tire model and the mold model are combined; calculation on deformation of mold and tire when the tire is released from the mold is performed (step 114) based on the mold release conditions and the boundary conditions; and the mold release property is evaluated from these physical quantities (step 118).
