Title:
TIRE MOLDING DIE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3589636
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire molding die which prevents a crowded-out part on the surface of a tire from being generated and thereby keeps the initial performance and the outer appearance of the obtained tire in a satisfactory state.
SOLUTION: This tire molding die is structured of the parts 10a of the die, each of which comprises an air bleeding hole (a vent hole) 1 which vents air 13 from a blocked space 12 formed by a green tire 11 and the surfaces of the parts 10a of the die and a vent tube 2, having a plurality of through holes 20, which is fitted to the face sides of the parts 10a of the mold in the vent hole 1 and formed of a flexible material which is chemically inactive therefore, does not fusion-bond with the green tire 11 and can be repeatedly used at 100 to 200°C. Further, the tire molding die is capable of venting the air 13 from the blocked space 12 in response to an increase in the internal pressure of the blocked space 12 following the reduction of the space 12 when the tire is molded by pressing the green tire 11 to the surface of each of the parts 10a and also preventing the outflow of the green tire 11 from occurring after the venting of the air 13.
