Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for molding a tire which can hold the initial performance and appearance of the obtained tire by preventing the generation of a spew (whisker-shaped projection) and a burr-shaped protruding part on the surface of the tire, reduce the manufacturing cost of the mold itself, and simplify maintenance and inspection work. SOLUTION: In the mold for molding the tire which is divided into at least two partial molds 10a and used as a total mold by combining the partial molds 10a as a whole when the tire is molded, a vent hole which can discharge air 13 from a closed space 12 formed by a tire raw material (green tire) 11 before molding and the surfaces of the partial molds 10a when each partial mold 10a molds the tire by pressing the green tire 11 to the surface of each partial mold 10a and a vent piece 2 having a self opening/closing mechanism which discharges the air in the space 12 and prevents the discharge of the green tire 11 after the air being discharged are provided.
