Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire pressure alarm device which can improve the antenna efficiency of its transmitting section and can be attached easily to a wheel rim.
SOLUTION: The tier pressure alarm device is attached to a wheel rim 1 in such a way that its transmitting section 7 constituted by housing a pressure detecting section 3 and signal processing circuits 4 and 5 in a case 2 is set up in the wheel rim 1 and, at the same time, a tire valve is firmly fixed to the wheel rim. The valve stem 16 and covered rubber 17 of the tire valve are firmly stuck to each other through vulcanization and, at the same time, a case 18 is integrally provided at the lower end section of the rubber 17 and a cylindrical antenna 19 coated with an insulating material is put on the rubber 17 by means of an appropriate means so that the radio output of the signal processing circuit 4 can be radiated from the cylindrical antenna 19 through the valve system 16.
