Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect tire pressure at an early time when there is a possibility of starting a vehicle by eliminating the need to dispose an antenna or the like for transmitting LF radio waves near each wheel while suppressing an increase in current consumption.SOLUTION: A sensor transmitter-receiver 2 is made into a state in which RF radio waves can be intermittently received. When burst signals are transmitted as the RF radio waves from a vehicle body side system 3, the sensor transmitter-receiver 2 is made into a state in which the RF radio waves can be continuously received following the transmission of the burst signals. When the sensor transmitter-receiver 2 is capable of receiving the RF radio waves, data of tire pressure is transmitted to the vehicle body side system 3 on the basis of a request signal from the vehicle body side system 3, thereby enabling detection of the tire pressure at an earlier time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
