Abstract:
To provide a tire rubber composition that can comprehensively improve wear resistance and wet grip performance, and a pneumatic tire made with the rubber composition.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a tire rubber composition that has a rubber component having a styrene-butadiene rubber content of 50-80 mass% and a butadiene rubber content of 20-50 mass%, silica of 80-120 pts.mass relative to the rubber component 100 pts.mass, a styrenic resin, and a C5 resin, satisfying the following formula (A). (A) α1/β1≤α2/β2. α1: a total styrene content [mass%] in the rubber component. α2: a total butadiene content [mass%] in the rubber component. β1: a content of a styrenic resin [pts.mass] relative to the rubber component 100 pts.mass. β2: a content of a C5 resin [pts.mass] relative to the rubber component 100 pts.mass.SELECTED DRAWING: None
