Abstract:

To provide a rubber composition for tires that can reversibly change tire performance in response to temperature changes, and can improve on-ice performance, and provide a tire.SOLUTION: A tire rubber composition comprises a mixture of a rubber component comprising isoprene rubber and/or butadiene rubber, silica surface-treated for pre-bonding to a temperature-responsive compound, and hydrocarbon resin. In the rubber component 100 mass%, the total content of the isoprene rubber and the butadiene rubber satisfies the following formula (1): total content of isoprene rubber and butadiene rubber>70 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
