Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the vibration and noise at the time of traveling by fitting two lines of lug pattern inside and outside of a rim in the circumferential direction, and shifting the inside lug pattern and the outside lug pattern from each other at 1/2 pitch.
SOLUTION: Taken (n) as natural logarithm, (b) as the number of fitting hole 13 and S as the number of lug 12, the relation between the number of the fitting hole 13 and the number of the lug 12 to be fixed on the periphery of a rim 11 is obtained on the basis of a formula. For example, the number of the lug 12 when the number of the fitting hole 13 is 10 is set at 25. At this stage, an odd number 5 of the lug 12 can be provided between two pitch angle 2α (one pitch = α) of the fitting hole 13. With this structure, in the case of using two single tires so as to form a double tire, the fitting holes 13 of the inside rim 11 and the fitting holes 13 of the outside rim 11 are shifted by one pitch in the rotating direction so that position of the lugs 12 of the inside tire structure 10 and position of the lugs 12 of the outside tire structure 10 are displaced from each other at 1/2 pitch.
