PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy installation of an air maintenance assembly into a tire.SOLUTION: A tire support apparatus 100 for installing a plurality of components into a tire T includes a support plate 120 for receiving the tire T thereon; and an upper plate 110 having a hole 112 for receiving a support member 130, the upper plate further including a ring 160 having an inner lip 161 that seats in contact with a bead region of the tire T and a radially outer surface 162 that seats in contact with a lower sidewall region of the tire T.
