To provide a tire for a two-wheeled vehicle wherein a uniformity is prevented from being deteriorated and unevenness of a density of driving of belt cords is prevented from occurring, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.

The method for manufacturing the tire 10 for the two-wheeled vehicle comprises the steps of forming a belt layer 16, then winding an elastic strip-like member 46 at a radial outside of the tire of the layer 16 spirally in a circumferential direction of the tire so as to at least partly laminate the member 46 in a step of forming a tire profile, and forming a tread 22 and a sidewall 26 by suitably changing a laminated amount of the member 46. Thus, the uniformity can be prevented from being deteriorated by increasing the laminating amount of the member 46 at a position which relatively needs a rigidity and decreasing the laminating amount at a position which does not relatively need the rigidity.
