A processing apparatus is equipped with a support stand 11 on which a tire vulcanizing mold M is fixed and a pair of rotary devices 20a, 20b opposed to each other on the same axial line so as to hold the mold M therebetween and drills 24a, 24b mutually different in outer diameter are provided to a pair of the rotary devices 20a, 20b. When a plurality of through-holes 5 are provided to the mold M so as to pierce the mold M from the tire molding surface thereof to the rear surface thereof, each of the through-holes 5 is constituted of the small diameter portion 5a on the side of the tire molding surface and the large diameter portion on the side of the rear surface larger than the small diameter portion in inner diameter.
