To provide a tire wear testing apparatus capable of preventing adhesion of a rubber piece to a tread surface of a test tire by effectively removing the rubber piece attached to a pseudo road surface of an outer surface of a rotary drum, thereby effectively removing a possibility of deterioration in measurement accuracy of a wear test.
The tire wear testing apparatus includes: a rotary drum 1 having a pseudo road surface 3 formed on the whole periphery of an outer surface and being rotatively driven; and at least one tire support body 2 that mounts a test tire 50 and presses the test tire 50 onto the pseudo road surface of the rotary drum 1. The tire wear testing apparatus further includes at least one spray means 6 that sprays pressurized gas G having a lower temperature than that of the pseudo road surface, towards the surface of the pseudo road surface 3 of the rotary drum 1.
