To provide a tire wheel assembly and a support for run-flat with improved durability in run-flat traveling.
The support 3 for run-flat consists of an annular shell 4 which fits a pneumatic tire 2 into a wheel rim 1, and projects a support surface 4a to the outer periphery having a leg part 4b along the both sides of the support surface 4a in a hollow part of the pneumatic tire 2, and an elastic ring 5 which supports the leg part 4b of the annular shell 4 on the rim 1. In the tire wheel assembly where the support body 3 is inserted, a plurality of through-holes 4d or a waved rugged part 4e are machined along the peripheral direction of the shell on the inner edge part 4c of respective leg parts 4b of the annular shell 4, and the inner edge part 4c where the through-holes 4d or the rugged parts 4e are formed, is embedded in the elastic ring 5.
