Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a malfunction of a tire wheel by preventing snow, water, dirt and the like entered through a decorative hole on a disc from accumulating inside the disc.
SOLUTION: A cylindrical fitting portion 11a formed on a peripheral edge of a disc 11 which is to be fitted and fixed into an inner wall of a fit-receiving portion 2a of a rim 2 of a tire wheel 10, has an end portion extended approximately along an axial direction of the rim 2. The end portion of the cylindrical fitting portion 11a is turned around so as to abut against a back face of the disc 11 and forms a turn 12 of the disc 11. The turn 12 serves to fill up and eliminate a recess 4 at a connecting portion between the fit-receiving portion 2a of the rim 2 and the cylindrical fitting portion 11a of the disc 11. The turn 12 and an outer wall of the cylindrical fitting portion 11a are attached to the inner wall of the rim 2 by welding or the like, to achieve rigid fixing of the rim 2 and the disc 11.
