Abstract:
To provide a wheel for tires and an apparatus for detecting temperature in a tire air chamber capable of achieving a compact sensor part by eliminating the need for an electric power source for the sensor part of the wheel and easily measuring temperature in a tire air chambers.
In the wheel 10 having a rim part 11, a Peltier element (thermoelectric element) 15 for converting the difference between the temperature in the tire air chamber and atmospheric temperature into electric energy is embedded in the rim part 11. An electromotive force generated in the Peltier element 15 is used to determine the temperature in the tire air chamber.
