Title:
TIRE FOR WINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3735088
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve on-snow traveling performance.
SOLUTION: By providing a center longitudinal groove 3 continuously extending in a tire peripheral direction on a tire equator C on a tread surface 2, rib-shaped parts 6a and 6b having sipings S on both sides of the center longitudinal groove 3 and continuously extending in a tire peripheral direction without a break are formed. In the center longitudinal groove 3, a groove edge line 3E in which groove wall surfaces on both the sides cross the tread surface 2 repeats a reference pitch P constituted of a first oblique side part 3a extending by being inclined in the tire peripheral direction and a second oblique side part 3b which includes a component extending in a direction opposite to at least the first oblique side part 3a and is continuous to the first oblique side part 3a in the tire peripheral direction. The tire peripheral length of the first oblique side part 3a occupies more than 60% of the reference pitch P.
